Itinerary
Immerse in all that the Blue Mountains has to offer on this food, wilderness and tasting tour. This tour combines the best of the Mountains. Explore unique lookout away from large crowds and taste your way through award wining brewery, winery, distillery and experience the mountains with a local like a local!
Your day begins meeting your guide in Leura or at Katoomba. Taking in the fresh mountain air be guided on a short walk to a spectacular lookout away from the large crowds. Learn about the Heritage listed Blue Mountains listen to stories past on from indigenous elders to more recent events that have shaped the landscape.
Our tastings begin after a short coffee stop to salut the 3 sisters before our first Tasting. Then we head down to the Megalong Valley for the most picturesque wine tasting & lunch. Surrounded by towering sandstone escarpments, Dryridge Estate is an elegant vineyard nestled in the serene Megalong Valley.
This relaxing bushland location will be our setting for our wine tasting and lunch. Here you’ll taste six current vintages and enjoy a platter of local, fresh produce for a light lunch.
After lunch we head over to the Blue Mountains Botanic Garden the only botanic garden in Australia located within a UNESCO World Heritage Area for a quick stop to take in amazing views!
Travelling on to Bilpin region where you will taste 100% Australian apple ciders. Taste ciders that are also 100% grown and produced in The Blue Mountains. learn about the fermentation process and taste ciders both apple & pear with no added sugar or artificial flavours you decide which is your flavour on the paddle.
Next up is an independent local distillery with a guided tasting meet & taste gin & other spirits here that have won international awards.
End the day on route with a short stop at Hawkesbury lookout before our final stop. This is a favourite for our beerthusiast tasting craft beers from a beer paddle from the trendiest drinking hole in the mountains a perfect ending to day out tasting and eating our way around the magnificent Blue Mountains.
