What’s included in the tours?

Our Blue Mountains All-inclusive Tour includes all transport, tour guides, lunch, and all entrance fees and tickets to attractions.
The Blue Mountain Wildlife Tour is also all-inclusive, except for entrance to Scenic World, which is not included in the price. Guests are welcome to purchase these tickets at their own expense.
Please refer to the inclusions section on each tour page to see a specific list of inclusions, for each tour.

What’s not included?

Gratuities to your guide/driver. On the Blue Mountains Wildlife tour we do not included Scenic World rides, if guests wish to enter Scenic World they must cover the cost themselves. Additionally, the tickets for city attractions included in our Combo Tours do not include transport, guides or food/drinks. Please see the inclusions section on each tour page for a detailed list of included/not included items.

Is lunch included?

Yes, a chef-prepared lunch is included and coffee and tea facilities are available and included. Additional drinks are not included, but can be purchased at your own cost. We can cater for specific diets. Please advise us of your needs at the time of booking and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Where are the pick-up points located?

Early morning pick-up points are scheduled from 6:45 am, from a selection of popular city hotels and are listed below.

• During public holidays, Anzac Day (April 25) and Australia Day (January 26) pick-up locations will be limited due to road blocks. We will let you know of any changes at the time of booking.
• During the period between December 27 to January 5, pick-up locations will be limited to:
• 06:35 Parkroyal Darling Harbour, 150 Day Street.
• 06:45 Mercure Central Hotel, Little Regent Street.
• 07:05 Four Seasons Hotel (rear entrance), 98 Harrington Street

Can I confirm my pick-up location later?

Yes. We understand that some guests are unsure where they will be staying at the time of booking. Just let us know your location as soon as you can before you take the tour, and we will advise you of the nearest pick-up point.

How to Book & Discounts
How can I book one of your tours?

+

You can book online or by phone via our 24/7 reservations office on +61 296 366 111. To secure a booking we require credit card details, however guests can pay cash on the day or by credit card (2% fee applies for visa & Mastercard, 3% for Amex). Your credit card will not be charged at time of booking, but rather the day before travel, if you select cash your card is simply held to reserve your seats.

Do you offer a group discount?

Yes. For bookings of 5 or more we offer $10 off the adult rate. We also offer travel agent and airline crew discounts; also $10 off. Please enter promo code Andos5 to obtain $10 off when you book 5 adults or more online.

Do you offer discounts for travel in the next 24 hours?

Yes we certainly do. After 3 pm simply call our reservations on 9636 6111 to find out what discount you can receive.


Cancellations & running late
What is your cancellation policy?

+

If you need to cancel a tour, a refund will be offered if you cancel outside of 24 hours before your tour departure time and date. You must also provide us with written notification to cancel. Cancellations within 24 hours will incur a 100% cancellation fee.

What if I’m running late for my tour?

+

We ask that you arrive at your meeting point at least 5 – 10 minutes prior to departure time. Failure to show at the correct meeting point on time will result in a ticket being forfeited. No refunds can be offered, nor travel on another day.


After the Tour
What time does the tour finish and where?

+

The tour concludes at Circular Quay eastern pontoon at approximately 6.15 pm or at Darling Harbour, King Street Wharf at 6:45 pm.

Is return transport back to my hotel included?

+

No it is not. The cruise will conclude at either Darling Harbour or Circular Quay. Both are central, popular locations and are full of restaurants and bars – perfect for an evening meal. After the cruise, guests are responsible for making their own way back to their hotel.


Questions About the Blue Mountains Tours
What is the maximum group size for the tours?

We keep our group sizes small with a maximum of 20 people per group to ensure a quality experience for everyone.

What is the difference between both tours?

+

The main difference between the All-inclusive and the Wilderness Tour is that the Wilderness Tour will include more time at lookout points, with more of a focus on the natural beauty and geology of the area, you will also enjoy longer bush walks with an experience guide who will be happy to tell you all about area’s plants, animals and ancient landscape. This tour also includes a visit to Featherdale Wildlife Park where visitors can see and interact with native animals. This tour does not include entrance to Scenic World but guests are welcome to purchase these at their own expense.

What type of transport do you use?

We use modern 20-seater coaches with air conditioning, seat belts, umbrellas (just in case!) and free wifi on board.

Will I have some free time on the tour?

Yes, you have some free time at Echo point to view the Three Sisters and at Featherdale Wildlife Park to hand feed kangaroos and see other native Australian wildlife.

Will I see a waterfall on this tour?

Yes, you’ll see Katoomba Falls on the Scenic World cable ride down into the valley.

If it rains, will the tour be cancelled?

No. We operate in all weather conditions. In winter rainfall is low, averaging just 8 days a month. We provide umbrellas and if the view is affected we make changes to the itinerary.

If I lose something on tour, can I get it back?

We will make every effort to get your lost property back to you. We may ask you to pay for any cost involved. We ask that you take great care as we are not responsible for any lost property.

Can I take my luggage with me?

No, unfortunately we don’t have any space to store luggage. It’s best to keep it in your hotel lobby.


Travelling with Families & Children
Are these tours suitable for families?

Yes, Anderson’s Tours offer a range of experiences and tours that are great for families and keep children entertained. There is no minimum age set. Children under 3 are required to be seated with a seat belt. If you are traveling with infants please contact us directly to discuss your needs in more detail and to ensure that your needs are taken care of.

Is the trip physically demanding?

No, not at all. We have seniors & children that join us on our tours. Our walks to lookouts are very gentle and easy to get to.

My child is under 2 years, do I have to pay for them?

+

Children under 2 years can travel for free. However, they cannot occupy a seat. They are required to sit with their parents, on their lap. If more than 2 children under 2 years from the same family are traveling, they are required to pay for another seat as they will not be comfortable, this cost is from $95. Contact us for if you are planning to travel with children under 2 years.

Is this tour suitable for young children or elderly persons?

Yes, very much so. The tour is small and guests receive a personalised service. The tour involves easy, short walks to lookouts and a guided boardwalk at Scenic World. No strenuous hikes are involved. For kids, the tour is great as it’s interactive. Featherdale Wildlife Park is great as they can hand feed Kangaroos, have a photo with a Koala, and see lots of other animals. In the mountains, they enjoy 3 rides, and a guided boardwalk through the rainforest at Scenic World.

Can I take my own pram on the bus?

Yes. However, only 1 per bus can be stored. If we already have a family with a pram we can’t take another on the same bus. Please let us know if you will be bringing along a pram at the time of booking.

Are the Blue Mountains Tours wheelchair friendly?

+

If a guest is able to get in and out of the bus and the wheelchair folds, then yes. Otherwise, we are afraid not as we don’t have a lift. A wheelchair can be hired at Featherdale if needed.


Combo Tour Questions
What is a Combo Tour?

+

A Combo Tour is a great value & time saving option which includes a day tour with us to the Blue Mountains (all-inclusive, fully guided tour), and combines that with tickets to other popular city attractions that you can visit at your leisure on the day of your choosing, during your stay in Sydney. The tickets to the city attractions are unguided and transport to them is not included.

Which city attractions are available with the Combo Tours?

We have a range of Combo Tours available which include tickets to various city attractions including: Taronga Zoo, Big Bus Hop-on Hop-off Tour, Sea Life Aquarium, Sydney Eye Tower, Sydney Harbour Cruise Pass and a Sydney Opera House Tour. Visit our Combo Tour page for more details.

Do I have to use my combo tickets within a certain time?

The Combo Tour is valid for 7 days, starting when you visit the first attraction of your choice included in the combo.

Can I complete the Combo Tours in any order I choose?

Yes, visiting the attractions and taking the Blue Mountains Tour is flexible. You can choose to do either one first, just make sure you allocate a full day to the Blue Mountains Tour and complete all city activities within 7 days (starting from the day you visit your first attraction).

How much time do I need to complete the Combo Tour?

Combo Tours can be completed within 2-4 days. The Blue Mountain Tour takes one full day and you can complete the other city attractions at your own pace, within the 7 day validity period.

How do I receive my attraction tickets?

After booking, we will send you an email containing “scannable e-tickets”. Using your phone, you can present these at each attraction. Alternatively, if you prefer not to use e-tickets, you can always collect your pre-paid attraction tickets at designated ticket booths in Darling Harbour & Circular Quay, just supply your name and booking number.
Please note: Scannable e-tickets are NOT available for the Big Bus hop-on-hop-off tour. You must pick them up from Circular Quay, opposite wharf 6 at the Booking Centre.

Are the city attractions guided?

Except for the Sydney Opera House Tour, the city attractions are not guided and you will be free to visit them at your own pace and schedule.
