All-inclusive Day Tours to Sydney’s Blue Mountains

Anderson’s gets an A+ for an absolutely spectacular day. The customer service was top-notch and Robert, out guide, was the best. Anderson’s was very accommodating and kept our very large group together even though we booked separately and were split into different groups. Quite an accomplishment at 7 am!

Robert was absolutely fantastic. Charming, engaging, and funny. Lots of history, stories, and jokes. Some would say that Robert is the 17th best tour guide in the world… but I say that he is #1.

Our tour guide was fantastic and chose the right time to visit views at the best time. Restroom stops were well timed and stops for a late breakfast were magnificent. Sydney Zoo was the best zoo that I have visited. The ferry trip back to Sydney was amazing and the rides at Scenic World were very different. My 5-year-old grandson loved the day.

A great day of sight-seeing with a wonderful tour guide (Steve). The coach was also comfortable for our day’s adventure. We had a beautiful day visiting the Blue Mountains and visiting several lookouts. The Katoomba falls were spectacular, as well. We ran across a flock of cockatoos and enjoyed watching them. Steve was always pointing out things for us to check out and his commentary on the area was an added bonus. Loved hearing about the area from a true local. The day’s activities were well-planned and lunch was very enjoyable. We also enjoyed the mixed modes of transportation for the tour – bus rides to the landmarks and a ferry ride back on the river. It was a full day of fun!

From the minute we got on board to the minute the trip finished we had a fantastic time. Rin was our guide and she made the day extra special with her exceptional knowledge, banter and kindness.

The views were absolutely spectacular and Rin planned the stops to make sure we got the most out of the day.

From booking the trip, to reminders and on the actual day, Andersons were great. I would definitely recommend to everyone. It was a stand out day in our family holiday.

Kunal was one of the most invested and articulate guides I have ever had. He educated us on social, economic and political matters in Australia as well as the flora and fauna.

Amazing experience with our tour guide Adam! He was very entertaining and we got to see so many amazing views in the Blue mountains and went to Featherdale!

My husband and I took all day tour to Blue Mountains with Anderson’s Tours. Our guide Mark was very informative and fun guy to tour with. He was very knowledgeable of the local history and places to go and see. The bus held 20 people and was very clean and comfortable. All ticket fees were included in the price of this tour so all you need to pay for is snacks/drinks at a couple of stops we went to.
I have to extend a special thanks to Mark for going above and beyond in helping my husband who has mobility issues and was struggling keeping up with the group. Without his assistance, my husband would have not been able to safely enjoy everything this tour had to offer.

We had a great time with our driver/guide, Gabe. The weather was not as cooperative, but he made some adjustments, and we were able to see some of the blue mountain sights. We even got to see a couple of lyrebirds in the rainforest. It was sad that our tram ride was completely in the clouds, so we couldn’t see the falls. He drove to another waterfall just so we could see one and get pictures. He also doubled back after lunch to try to get the Vista view of the blue mountains, and we were able to get a peek between the clouds. Gabe narrated our ride with interesting stories and aboriginal music. This trip was awesome, and definately worth the time.

Rin was a fun, thoughtful and professional tour guide. She was THE BEST tour guide we have ever had in all these years actually. It was foggy at the Three Sisters and she went out of her way to return some time later to see if it would clear as she knew we all ( on the tour) came to see that! It finally cleared for about 10 minutes and you could hear our tour and all the other tourists cheering!

This was an amazing day trip we took with Anderson tours from Sydney. Our tour guide Adam was fantastic. He carefully thought through our schedule of things to see and had us there ahead of the crowds which made the experience even better for us. Adam was informative, funny, cared about his group getting the best experience possible and he played great music in the bus!!
The cost of the tour was well worth it, we got to spend ample time seeing the Blue Mountains National Park, Three Sisters, taking the gondolas and cable car, had a great lunch at The Bunker Restaurant, to the Featherdale Wildlife Park and finally a ferry ride back to Sydney Harbour.

My husband and I had the most amazing time! Our guide, Steve, was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful during the entire day. He went above and beyond and helped us have the best experience at every single stop. He even took us to some bonus spots! We can’t recommend this tour or thank him enough! It was a day full of beautiful views, great information, and incredible experiences such as riding the steepest railway in the world and feeding kangaroos. 10/10!

The guides were great. I had Bob for most of the trip and then KG for Featherdale who gave me a personal guided tour of the sanctuary after I was inadvertently transferred to the bus that was going to the zoo. I had no idea the Blue Mountains were as impressive as they are (much like the Grand Canyon but more green). And, Scenic World was neat with the world’s steepest railway. Featherdale has mostly indigenous animals, so much better than Taronga Zoo which I had visited the day before.

Bob was so great, he drove us to alternate locations when the fog and mist obstructed views.

Wealth of knowledge throughout the “entire” trip. Fully engaged from 1st greet to send off on the Ferry home. She was able to modify the schedule to ensure we were able to see all we wanted to while we negotiated the fog and rainy moments. Would highly recommend this tour group company, and will definitely consider it again on my next visit

This tour was well organized, on time and stopped at amazing sights throughout the Blue Mountains. Our tour guide, Bob, was incredible. He read the weather patterns and made choices on the sequence of sights so that we had the best views. And we had a tricky day of weather so that was no small task. He also shared great local and Aboriginal knowledge.

Great experience! Highly recommend going on small group tour as it wasn’t crowded and was very well organised with itinerary of the day. Our tour guide Mark was fantastic! Very informative on history of Australia & sights on way up to Blue Mountains. Was able to answer any questions with ease and passion. Thank you Mark for showing us amazing views on a few mountain outlooks. The highlight for us was going out to the 3 Sisters as we were 3 sisters on our weekend away to Sydney!

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and made the trip interesting. The views were fantastic. The food that was provided was very nice. It was nice to reach the blue Mountains early before the rush time when other big coaches arrive. Also the smaller coach allowed us to go to other lookouts that the large buses could not access. First class service all the way. I would highly recommend Anderson’s tours.

Robert and the Anderson company was very accommodating. Our bus had a door issue and they immediately remedied the situation. Robert did everything he could to make our trip amazing even with the uncooperative weather. The look out point we finally found without clouds was great. Robert made sure we saw the mountains. Scenic world was fun. Lunch was great. Zoo was fun. Loved seeing the koalas and kangaroos. The ferry home was great. All steps of the way were taken care of and Robert made the day very enjoyable. You can tell he his loves his home of Australia and has an engaging way of sharing it with travelers. I highly recommend this tour. He went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience.

Mike was an awesome driver. Very knowledgeable and lotsa dad jokes to keep us amused. Beautiful trip through the Blue Mountain Park with lunch, Featherdale Wildlife Park & Ferry ride to end it all. Well worth the money. Leaving early beats the crowds, though you may want to buy some pastries the night before.

We would like to start by saying Robert is by far one of the best tour guides we have ever had! He is very knowledgeable of all the areas we visited. Super nice guy! Even though the weather was bad, he made the day very enjoyable. We really enjoyed the world’s steepest train ride and the boardwalk through the rainforest. It is a very well organized tour. Highly recommended!

Excellent day with Steve who was our guide and driver. Funny and interesting commentary and he went above and beyond to ensure we saw all the sites even with the varying and challenging weather. It was a very full and exhausting day, finishing off with the spectacular ferry ride to Darling Harbour. Thank you for a great day!
