Yes, a chef-prepared lunch is included, we can cater for specific diets. We offer different dietary options such as Halal, Vegetarian, Vegan and Gluten Free. Please advise us of your needs at the time of booking and we will do our best to accommodate you.

To secure a booking you need to book and select to pay in full or a 20% deposit with balance payable in cash on the day or CC prior to date of travel. (2% fee applies for visa & Mastercard, 3% for Amex). Your credit card will be charged at the time of booking, if you select cash, we will require a 20% deposit to reserve your seats.
Yes. For bookings of 7 or more we offer $10 off the adult rate. Enter promo code Andos10 in the shopping cart.

Pick-up Locations
Early morning pick-up points are scheduled from 6:45 am, from a selection of popular city hotels and are listed below.

- 06:45AM outside the Park Royal Darling Harbour, 150 Day Street.
- 06:55AM outside Hilton Hotel, BACK ENTRANCE, 255 PITT Street.
- 07:05 AM Outside the back entrance of the Four Seasons Hotel located at 98 Harrington Street, The Rocks.
During public holidays, Anzac Day (April 25) and Australia Day (January 26) pick-up locations will be limited due to roadblocks. We will let you know of any changes at the time of booking.
Yes. We understand that some guests are unsure where they will be staying at the time of booking. Just let us know your location as soon as you can before you take the tour, and we will advise you of the nearest pick-up point.
No. You must be at the confirmed meeting point as we have different guides allocated to different meeting points depending which group you are with.
No. We minimize time spent on city pick-ups, nothing worse than sitting in a bus for an hour whilst guide pick up from all sorts of hotels. We start early , limit pick-ups so that we spend more time in the mountains before groups arrive.
Sure, if you are a group of 10 or more we can consider picking you up. Providing that you are in the city Centre and you’re in a location where we can safely park our bus otherwise we may recommend a nearby meeting point within a few minutes walk.
Cancellations & running late
If you need to cancel a tour, a refund will be offered if you cancel outside of 24 hours before your tour departure time and date. You must also provide us with written notification to cancel. Cancellations within 24 hours will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
We ask that you arrive at your meeting point at least 5 – 10 minutes prior to departure time. Failure to show at the correct meeting point on time will result in a ticket being forfeited. No refunds can be offered, nor travel on another day.
After the Tour
The tour will conclude at Circular Quay Wharf at approximately 5:00pm.
No, it is not. The cruise will conclude at Circular Quay Wharf. The location is full of restaurants and bars – perfect for an evening meal. After the cruise, guests are responsible for making their own way back to their hotel.
Questions About the Blue Mountains Tours
We keep our group sizes small with a maximum of 20 people per group to ensure a quality experience for everyone.
We use modern 20-seater coaches with air conditioning, seat belts, umbrellas (just in case!) and free Wi-Fi on board.
Yes, you have some free time at Echo point to view the Three Sisters and at Featherdale Wildlife Park or Sydney zoo to hand feed kangaroos and see other native Australian wildlife.
Yes, you’ll see Katoomba Falls on the Scenic World cable ride down into the valley.
No. We operate in all weather conditions. We provide umbrellas. If you are concerned about visibility as it may be impacted on some days please check forecast and change dates outside of 24 hours of your travel.
We will make every effort to get your lost property back to you. We may ask you to pay for any cost involved. We ask that you take great care as we are not responsible for any lost property.
No, unfortunately we don’t have any space to store luggage. It’s best to keep it in your hotel lobby.
Travelling with Families & Children
Yes, Anderson’s Tours offer a range of experiences on tour that are great for families and keep children entertained. There is no minimum age set. Children under 3 are required to be seated with a seat belt.
No, not at all. We have seniors & children that join us on our tours. Our walks to lookouts are only short walks some do have stairs so if mobility is an issue, please do let us know as you will need to keep up with the group.
Children under 2 years must purchase an infant ticket and we provide a suitable infant seat. When booking please specify the age of the infant so we know if a baby seat is required or a booster.
Yes, very much so. The tour is small, and guests receive a personalized service. The tour involves easy, short walks to lookouts and a guided boardwalk at Scenic World. No strenuous hikes are involved. For kids, the tour is great as its interactive. The Animal experience is great as they can hand feed Kangaroos, have a photo with a Koala, and see lots of other animals. In the mountains, they enjoy 3 rides, and a guided boardwalk through the rainforest at Scenic World.
No, unfortunately we don’t have any space to store prams. Strollers are also not allowed on the Scenic World rides.
We are afraid not as we don’t have a lift or storage room. A wheelchair can be hired at Featherdale. If needed, please email bookings@andersonstours.com.au to discuss this with our team.
ANIMAL PARKS AND ENCOUNTERS
We are happy to accommodate your request if we are advised 48 hours prior to travel date. We will do our best however please note this is still a request not a guarantee.
No, you cannot hold a Koala. It is against the law in the State of New South Wales to hold a Koala without the appropriate accreditation. However, if you book a Koala Encounter you can have a close and personal professional photo with your furry Australian friend.
SEATING
Under Australian law, 2-year-old in a Public Vehicle does not require a booster seat. For babies under 12 months please book an infant and we will place an infant seat for you.
We want all our guests to enjoy touring with us. Please email our reservations on bookings@andersonstours.com.au to discuss this further as we will do our best but we cannot always guarantee.
TOILET
The longest stretch without a toilet is a maximum of 90 minutes.
The Blue Mountains have all the stops with toilet facilities and the guides know where they are and advise you threw out the day.
Most of the lookouts don’t have toilets.
*There are toilets at the , Scenic World, Echo Point, restaurants, Wildlife Park, and at Olympic Park
